Pangasinan wants to be declared insurgency-free

The Philippine Army and the provincial government officials of Pangasinan recently convened in Lingayen to evaluate the province’s insurgency-free declaration.

They evaluated the clearing operations conducted by the Clearing Evaluation Board (ACEB).

The main requirement for the declaration is a pronouncement from the Area Clearing Evaluation Board (ACEB) declaring the province clear of local terrorist groups and the Communist New People’s Army.

On June 13, 2018 the 702nd Infantry Brigade, 7ID, PA and the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office signed the Joint Recommendation endorsing Pangasinan to be declared as Insurgency Free.

Pangasinan hopes to be declared insurgency free before the year ends.
