Seventeen hijab troopers are finally home after a three-month deployment in Marawi City.

These hijab-wearing soldiers helped bring normalcy to the lives of the affected children in adults who were victims of the five-month Marawi Siege last year.

They also helped ensure that the barangay elections in Marawi were conducted peacefully.

The soldiers were given a Military Merit Medal upon their return by their commander for a job well done.
